Robert M. Chabinga, a Zambian politician, serves as the Member of Parliament for Mafinga Constituency, elected on August 12, 2021, under the Patriotic Front (PF).

 

Since November 2023, he has been the Leader of the Opposition in Zambia’s National Assembly, advocating for his constituents’ needs. Chabinga has driven development in Mafinga, securing Constituency Development Funds and commissioning a local court in 2025.

 

His efforts earned him the 2024 African Achievers Award for Leadership Excellence at the House of Lords and the Distinctive Visionary Leader of the Year at the Global Leadership Forum.

 

He supports Zambia’s 2023-2027 National Digital Strategy, emphasizing digital transformation for progress. As a key PF figure, Chabinga remains committed to advancing Mafinga’s infrastructure and economic growth, focusing on transparent governance and community empowerment.
